crisscrosses Florida and comes ever closer to major connections
allowing hundreds of miles of riding. Bicycle touring remains popular in
rural areas, and many public lands throughout the state have dedicated
single-track for fat-tire enthusiasts. One of the state’s longest paved
bike trails, the Coast to Coast Connector, continues to fill in gaps between St. Petersburg and Titusville. Paddle: Florida leads the way in paddling trails, with the Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail
the longest continuous water trail along the coast of a single state.
Whether you prefer canoe, kayak, or SUP, our paddling season in Florida
guarantees year-round fun. Florida Trail: 1,400 miles statewide. 1,110 miles linear. The Florida Trail is
Florida’s own National Scenic Trail, a ribbon of outdoor adventure
stretching from the edge of the Everglades to Pensacola Beach, with
trailheads within an hour of most Florida communities. |
